This pretty village on the Norfolk Broads is host to the 2nd Horning Boat Show – held throughout the village with lots to do for the whole family, this is a day not to be missed!

Broads Outdoor Festival
The Broads Outdoors Festival takes place different locations across Britain’s Magical Waterland.There will be around 100 events from guided wildlife walks and canoe trails to visits to the historic windmills of the Broads, plus lots of opportunities to get out on the water.

Open Day at Norfolk Boat Sales
If you have ever thought about owning your own boat, or you already do and you are thinking of changing, pop along to NBS to take a look at the huge display of new and used boats. Ex-hire craft on display.
Guided Tour at St Benets Abbey
Find out about the dramatic rise and fall of this icon of the Broads – from a powerhouse that helped make the Broads landscape, to a romantic ruin with a windmill built on top of it.
6th May
Sail the River Bure on the Wherry Albion
Sail aboard the historic trading wherry Albion and learn about her from her crew whilst sailing to Cockshoot Dyke. Once there you will be guided along the boardwalks with a commentary on the flora and fauna. You will pause at the hide overlooking the broad before returning to the boat for the journey back to Ludham.

Norfolk and Norwich Festival
Renowned for bringing art from around the world to Norfolk, first acts named include international jazz superstars Hugh Masekela and Madeleine Peyroux, dance iconoclasts Michael Clark Company and the UK premiere of a new show from Australian new circus pioneers Circa the Festival.

Great Yarmouth Beer & Cider Festival
Held at St Georges Theatre – this annual four day real ale festival features all sorts of local beers and ciders.
