Barnes Brinkcraft (Barnes Marine Units Ltd) of Wroxham have today announced that they have bought neighbouring boatyard Royalls and 9 hire craft, after the retirement of Nigel and Sara Royall at the end of last season.
Director Daniel Thwaites said “buying Royalls means that we will have more room to increase our fleet and servicing facilities, and with the trend towards more UK tourists opting to holiday in this country and overseas tourists being lured by the favourable exchange rates, this is the right time for us to expand.”
Barnes Brinkcraft will then operate a fleet of 86 boats from their base at Wroxham including the 9 acquired from Royalls. Plans for the 2017 season include adding 5 new built boats to the fleet and 3, new three bedroomed holidays homes overlooking their private marina.
