Enjoy Wild Mooring on Lock-Free Boating Holidays | Norfolk Broads
You don’t have to moor up outside one of Norfolk’s famed pubs (although it does have its plus side!) You can just drop a mud weight (an anchor) in one of the Broads (lake). Imagine yourself as the sun sets, sitting with the boat canopy open. Watching the stars appear and listening to the birds as they take themselves to bed. You’ll occasionally hear something move in the water. Is it an otter, a fish jumping or the wind blowing through the reed bed?
It’s a beautiful way to spend the evening. Choose one of the boats with a superior battery management system. You’ll have all you need onboard without needing to start your engine.
Top tip – make sure the wind is due to remain calm, you don’t want to get blown into the reedbed!
