Hen & Stag Parties on the Norfolk Broads
Are you the best man or bride of honour, looking for an imaginative idea for your Hen or Stag party on the Norfolk Broads? What better way to get together with their friends and family before tying the knot.
At Barnes Brinkcraft we have been welcoming Hen and Stag parties to the Norfolk Broad for years. Both onboard our hire boats, our day boats, and in our riverside cottages.
To help get you into a celebratory mood, we’ll provide the Hen or Stag with a bottle of bubbly on arrival.
Please be aware we will ask you for a security deposit of £500.
We believe that everything you need for a great weekend (or longer!) is right here on the Norfolk Broads.
Self Catering Riverside Cottages
Our four cottages, Mallard, Heron, Coot and Grebe can each sleep 8 people in four bedrooms. Each house has a spacious lounge/diners and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite.
The cottages have furnished balconies and a lawned garden overlooking the river, the ideal setting for bar-b-ques.
Each cottage comes with its own day boat FOC (outside school holidays).
The cottages Coot and Grebe have a linking door – sleeping up to 16 between them.

Great Yarmouth Entertainment
As a holiday resort, Great Yarmouth has more than most to offer. Racing, for dogs, horses or even banger cars. Casinos, an array of pubs and sports bars. There are plenty of live shows and a pretty impressive beach
You can moor at the Yacht Station in Great Yarmouth which is just a 10-minute walk from the town centre. We can also organise a taxi for you

Fishing on the Norfolk Broads
If you fancy a few days fishing you should call in to Lathams at Potter Heigham. Rods, reels, poles, clothing, bait, general equipment and luggage are all for sale. – fisherman of all types are well catered for. If you need advice, then Lathams is the place to ask, where the team of local staff can provide help and guidance to those new to the area.
Canoeing – If you are staying in one of our Lodges why not take a canoe out for the day. Our helpful team will recommend a route. life jackets and provide you with a ‘dry bag’ (deposit required) for your valuables (should the unthinkable happen!)
