It’s been a while since our last Blog (sounds like a confession doesn’t it) so here is an update of what has been happening since we started back to work in the New Year.
New ‘Quartets’ Work is continuing on the two new boats we are building, with the first one ‘Quartet 3’ being ready for customers at Easter, and the second one ‘Quartet 4’ ready for the beginning of June. These boats will both be 5 star, and offer luxurious modern accommodation for four people. We do still have a few weeks left on these boats for the 2013 season, give our booking office a call on 01603 782625 to check availability or have a look on-line.
2013 Bookings This year our booking office was open during the Christmas & New Year break for those who wanted to book their summer holiday early for something to look forward to after Christmas. It won’t be long before Easter when we get our first ‘long weekend’ of the year, so if you are thinking of taking a break on the Broads have a look through our boats to see which one would best suit your needs. Easter is early this year, but don’t worry our boats have heating to keep you cosy!
Winter Weather During this last week we have our fair share of the snow, the yard has been looking very pretty but it has been challenging to say the least for the staff who have been working outside in it on the quay heading in the car park. Today, as we write this Blog it is a ‘balmy’ 2 degrees – have a look at our Norfolk Broads webcam to what’s happening here on the Broads.
Offers At the moment we do have two ‘special offers’ running:-
(i) Book your holiday by 31st January to get a 5% discount on our brochure prices
(ii) Or, we have three boats which are subject to a £75 discount on weekly bookings or a £35 discount on short breaks during July & August.
Short Film During the winter months we have been busy working on a short film about the Norfolk Broads. Some of our customers helped in the recording of this, Chris West and his family, Sean Chapman, Louise Morton & Damien Roberts and Mike Griffiths and his friends, if we have missed anyone out, we do apologise but we would like to say a big THANK YOU to you all. We hope to be able to show you the finished result by the end of this month 🙂
Welcome Packs This year we will be providing ‘welcome packs’ for all guests arriving for either a weekly holiday or short break. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits will be ready for on-board your Boat or in the Lodge so that you can enjoy a cuppa before you start unpacking, we want you to start relaxing as soon as you arrive.
Bosuns Locker You may have already noticed a new ‘button’ on our home page ‘The Bosuns Locker’, this is a new facility that will be ‘up & running’ by mid February. Keep watching!
